Tuesday Night Music Series Line Up for 2025
All shows will be from 6:00-8:00 pm in The Village Park under the gazebo.
Bring your own lawn chairs. Park rules apply.

6/24 Mark Croft Duo
Mark is an award-winning singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist with Roots, Rock and Americana song styling. A 16-time MAMA awards winner, and singer/songwriter Performer of the year in 2024, Mark, along with the exceedingly talented violinist, Jon Vriesacker, will kick off the New Glarus Music in the Park series in fine style!

7/1 Robert J and Mauro Magellan
Robert J is an award-winning singer/songwriter/recording artist who has been a main stay of the Wisconsin music scene for decades. Together with Mauro Magellan, who may be best known as the drummer with. “The Georgia Satellites” and “The Jimmy’s” they will bring a Bluesy Americana vibe to New Glarus.

7/8 Dawg Bones
This trio plays a wide variety of tunes with in a “Great American Music” theme. This includes rockabilly, country, early rock-n-roll, Western swing and blues. Dawg Bones will provide an entertaining evening of fun for all ages. Come and sing along!

7/15 Hair Lip Dog
A hometown favorite with it’s trio of Mark’s, (Marc Barnaby, Mark Schwoegler & Mark Kramer) will have you rocking and clapping and singing along to their high-energy and eclectic sound.

7/22 Minor Changes
A combo of experienced musicians who enjoy playing a mix of music, including standards, accessible jazz, originals and anything they have fun playing on trumpet, sax, keyboard, bass and drums. Bring your dancing shoes for this one!

7/29 Chicken Bacon
The summer series wraps with this Madison-based Americana-Roots band serving up music from the greats like The Band, Little Feat, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Dylan, Neil Young, Jerry Garcia, Van Morrison and more. What’s not to love? Join them with their 12 & 6 string guitars, upright bass, mandolin, violin and tambrelini.

Share with your family the story of Swiss independence, written by German playwright Friedrich Schiller. It's a live theater presentation with intricate costumes and a lively cast that includes goats, cows and horses. More than 200 local volunteers join to make each colorful performance come to life.

Swiss Historical Village Harvest Fest

Connect with 19th century Swiss immigrant life at our annual Harvest Fest where daily routines and responsibilities of the past – cheese making, blacksmithing, yarn spinning, basket weaving – are re-created. Enjoy a Swiss brätzeli cookie-making demonstration. Talk to Civil War re-enactors, the “Bee Man,” a wheelwright and a sausage maker. For those of you who are feeling ambitious, practice your three Rs in a one-room schoolhouse. After all that work, relax and enjoy some live music on our picturesque grounds . . .
