NEW GLARUS, WISCONSIN is a Swiss community of 1800 known for its festivals year round and hospitality. What sets this event apart from other festivals is that it is held in January in the Winter of Wisconsin. so - dress accordingly. Motels, hotels, bed and breakfasts are within walking distance to everything. If you go to the center of New Glarus and go in any direction 6 blocks, you will be at the Village limits. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, gift shops, etc. to keep you entertained. Walk around to get where you are going. Park/leave car at hotel until you leave.
