2010 GreenCounty Dairy Day Events
Saturday June 19, 2010-Cattle Show
The Cattle Show will take place at the Green County Fairgrounds. Cattle must be checked in on the grounds by 9:30. The Showmanship classes will begin promptly at 10:00.
Friday June 25, 2010-Queens Banquet
The Queens Banquet will be held on Friday June 25, 2010 at the NewGlarusHigh School. Moo-tail will begin at 7:00 with the “Final Question” for the Community Dairy Queens at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10.00 from a local Dairy Queen or Ag Chest Board members after May 24, 2010. Tickets purchased at the door will be $12.00.
Saturday June 26, 2010-Green CountyDairy Day Parade and CountyDairy Queen Crowning
New Glarus is holding the Dairy Day Parade beginning at 12:00. Entry forms can be found at www.greencountyagchest.com. There is no fee for entrants and prizes will be awarded in four categories. For questions, call Kaye Gmur at 608-287-4700 or Monika Pernot .
Following the parade, the Crowning of the Green County Dairy Queen and Green County Dairy Princess will take place at the Depot on Railroad Street.
